Dr. Frank CLAEYSSEN obtained his engineering degree in 1985 from the Institut Supérieur d’Electronique et de Nanotechnologies, ISEN-IEMN Lille (F), where he worked on Ultrasonic Piezo Transducers for medical echography and their FEM modelling. Then he worked on Electro-Acoustic Sonar Transducers in the French Navy Submarine Detection Lab in Toulon and completed his Ph. D. Thesis at INSA-LGEF in 1989 on the Design & Construction of Magnetostrictive Transducers. He is inventor of more than 10 patented actuators & sensors devices, some being exploited by CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES, such as Amplified Piezo Actuators APA®. He also received National Prizes in 2006.
Nabil BENCHEIKH, Mechanical engineer CEDRAT TECHNOLOGY S.A. Nabil BENCHEIKH, Dr. obtained in 2007 his Ph. D at the University of Technology of Compiègne, France, on the design and validation of a miniaturized electromagnetic planar conveyor prototype. He is used to train engineers and students on mechanical field as dynamical analysis, mechanical drawing and analysis tools of tests measurement. Since 2008, he has been working on several projects related to the design, prototype, tests and validation of electromagnetic piezoelectric devices including: the MTG regarding an electromagnetic motor with limited angular torque (LAT) for scanning application with ESA/SENER, and works on several ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers project for different application as cleaning, coating and moulding.
Olivier SOSNICKI (Electronic Engineering Diploma, 1995), is in charge of the mechatronic engineering team at CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES, dealing with the design and development of electronic boards and analogue and digital control loops. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the design of electronics systems coupled with mechanisms and sensors to control mechatronic functions. During these years, he has used his sound experience in R&D and industrial manufacturing of sub-systems in analogue and/or digital functions with low and/or high power electronic designs to develop sensors, drivers, controllers for smart mechanisms.
Gregory MICHAUD received the M.S. degree from Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble, in 2007. He is specialized on magnetic devices. Since 2008, he has joined CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES, in the Electrical Engineering team, working on the modelling and the simulation on electromagnetic actuators, sensors and motors.
Thomas MAILLARD, Eng., was awarded his Master degree in Applied Physics in 2000 by the University of Bordeaux (France). Then in 2001, he obtained a Master Pro diploma on scientific instrumentation & marketing. In October 2001, he joined CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES and for 7 years he has been contributing to the development of the piezoelectric actuators technology and services of the company around the world.
