training of troops

Quick Training of Troops Explained
&
Creating Large Queues of Troops Explained
We all run out of troops sometimes and there are some ways to replenish your
troops. Of course You can Revive wounded troops and although this is not costly
for troops like Scouts, Archers etc, the time needed for reviving goes up when
doing Hcav, Catas and Siege Troops Like Catas, Ballistas ( Rams).
If you have a lot of speed ups, some people will go that way, but if not , you
actually have to train them again. That is of course the troops you can train, rare
troops can only be obtained in chest, boxes, promotions, gifts etc. And of course
you can open some troop boxes from inventory.
But sometimes when you have been busy on the battlefield you need to retrain ,
catas, ballistas, Hcav etc. ( and you can’t revive or open troopboxes)
Let us discuss a few options that are available when you need to replenish faster
some much needed (trainable troops)
Of course you should always be training in as much cities as possible either
concentrating on your most used troop or use cities to train a diversity of troops
like,
City 1 - Hcav,
City 2 - Catas
City 3 – Catas,
Etc etc
This to replenish your losses and keep your stock of fighting troops available.
But not everybody can let his computer run 24/7 and let the scripts handle the
training.
And thus sometimes it’s needed to create troops fast and with some dedication
this is possible.
And since with dedication almost everything is possible, we will cover as well
how to create large queues of troops.
For this training we need to check and set up a few things.
1) Troop training speed
2) Increased Population
Both are subject to caps, so you need to reach the Caps as close as possible, be
equal or higher. Depending on your cards etc
In this case 3778 TTs is
close to cap & Population
buff is higher then cap.
A Quick Replenish; By training this way you will be trading some resources & troops for speed and
the quick availability of troops that you need. In this scenario, we do Heavy Cav.
With above TTS of 3778% and Population buff of 131,25% ( which is over cap of
75%)
Goto Bot , then POPULATON tab.
I will train the Hcav in city 1 ( for this tutorial) and I will be dismissing SCOUTS to
get Idle Population, which will be boosted by the TR card, giving me more Idle
Population. ( scouts were the only troop available to dismiss)
This is a dropdown box which gives you the option to
choose which troop to dismiss. The options are Supply Troop (ST) , Militia (MM)
,Scouts, Pike , Swords, Archers.
You use the troop you have the most of, I use in this tutorial scouts as I have a lot
of them. But if you have a lot of the other troops as mentioned here above, then
use those. Make sure you have a few millions of those troops you will be using in
the City where you will be training.
Now that I have selected SCOUTS to be dismissed for Idle population.
I will click Dismiss button.
By dismissing the scouts, I now have :
Above Idle population, that can be used to train what I need.
I will Now go to the TRAIN tab in bot and set it up.
I selected my city 1 to train Heavy Cavalry. The Auto Train function will start
filling up the Queue and use the idle population we had created above for Hcav
Training.
Now we go back to the Population tab
Every time the dismiss button becomes black ( available), we click it and it will
dismiss troops, auto train will pick up the idle pop and starts filling the available
queues in that city.( If the button is greyed out, we can’t use it temporarily)
When all Queues are filled then goto TOOLS.
In Tools we goto TRAIN tab.
Here you can see the filled Queues of Hcav.
In the city tab you can now use a speed up on the queue and you will quickly
have the troops you need, do it a few times, or dedicate a few hours and you can
build up a lot of troops in a short time.
A Bigger Replenish; Basically the same method as we used above. As you saw I had full Queues of
Hcav,
For this Tutorial to continue, I went first back to TRAIN in BOT and turned it OFF.
Now I goto POPULATION tab in BOT
And click to delete all queues.
This will create a massive idle population, by deleting several queues at once.
As you see I have now over a Million Idle Population.
I will Now Switch the TRAIN tab in BOT to make me Swords.
Now I have swords in training, and the reason I did is that it takes 5hours + to
finish. This will put a “block” in the Queues so that they will not run out quickly.
IN TRAIN in BOT tab I will set to Supply Troops for example, to be trained.
Now I go Back to POPULATION tab and I repeat the Process of dismissing scouts
And now the queues after the first queue of swords get filled up with Supply
Troops. When all Queues are filled go to TRAIN tab in TOOLS.
Here you see the Queues in place.
You want to manually remove the all the supply troop queues by clicking the
X in front of each queue. ( If you were doing this in population tab, via delete
queues, you would be deleting the first queue too)
Till you have this.
Auto Train kicks in and makes more supply troops.
Now go back to POPULATION tab in bot and repeat the process of dismissing
scouts. Till your Queues are full again.
And manually delete again as described above
Untill you slowly slowly start filling up large queues of troops.
You can delete the larger queues and now train Bigger batches of the troops you
need and want.
You can then use speed ups or tutelages to finish that queue
For Tutorial purposes we used an example of using a surplus of scouts and
converting them to a troop we needed urgently, This way you “Sacrifice”
some scouts and resources for the troop or troops you needed.
This method is of course faster then waiting for your cities to normally train
them.
If you are a multitasker, and you have a lot of the dismissible troops, like
ST, MM, Pike, Swords, Archers, you can do this with several cities at the
same time.
When done, and you have what you need, then you can let all your cities
train supply troops or MM or Scouts. They are fast and cheap.
Once you have accumulated a lot of supply troops, MM, or scouts, you can
use them to convert them quickly into the troops you need, like we
explained in this tutorial. (Only then with cheap supply troops, but your
choice to create scouts if you don’t want supply troops. And some people use
big quantities of scouts as well in defending, there is always a use for them)
You can use the ST, MM or scouts also for a Tournament and use the
Tournament mode in the POPULATION tab.
It does exactly as the description says.
In General you will need cities with 10-12 Barracks, as each Barack gives
you 1 queue. If you have a city with only 4 Barracks and the rest cottages,
you will only have 4 queues. So Try to balance your cities out in a mix with
barracks and cottages, to have enough queues and enough population.
You can create with these methods enormous queues with a bit of
dedication. ( & sacrificing troops and resources.)
REMEMBER: you will only get back half the resources and half the
population when you dismiss a queue. For example: 12 queues x 100,000
troops = 1.2 million troops , when removed from barracks it will give you a
idle population of 600,000.
Enormous queues as described here above , that are possible to create is
what some players do, and they keep removing them and “grow” them
until these are huge queues of troops. They release these huge queues in
general as Swordsmen , during tournaments ( for might purposes) in the
“Classic Tournaments of Might” ( TR might doesn’t count in these
tournaments)
When you are going for these huge queues, then TUTELAGES are very
handy as they can bring down these queues from weeks to a matter of days
or hours.
In the game there are 3 kinds of tutelages
1. Lancelot’s Tutelage , reduces total train time by 30%
2. Arthur’s Tutelage , reduces total train time by 50%
3. Merlin’s Tutelage , reduces total train time by 70%
: Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes it
gives you and edge, or advantage, but it leaves also many people clueless. The
objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have
a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the
better the overall experience is for all players. More attacking and defending
means “lively” domains full of activity.
