Step 1 : Download Scala Add-On for IAdea Android Player Firmware
Please visit IAdea support site
(http://support.iadea.com/entries/62861814-Scala-Android-Player-
add-on-packages) to download Scala Add-On.
Step 2 : Save to USB
Prepare a USB stick in FAT32 format
Save the Add-On package (*.pkg) to the USB stick’s
root directory

Step 3 : Install Scala Add-on
Package
*Please note that after installation, all previous configuration and content will be cleared
•Go to Advanced menu
•Go to System Firmware update menu as
shown in left
•Click OK and follow the screen instruction to
insert USB stick to install Add-on package
•After installation complete, player will boot
to Basic settings menu
•Please configure Network and Time zone
setting
•Click Play button to launch Scala Player
installation utility

After click Play button, Scala installation
utility will be launched, click Install button
to install the Scala player
Installation will start after click Install
button
Configuration page will show up after
installation finish

add new player to your
network
Select proper device type –
Scala Android Player : single frame
Scala Android HTML Player : single frame

Give Player a
meaningful name and
click Create button to
create player
Select a pre-planned
channel for your player
and click Save Changes

Select the newly added player and click
Generate Plan button to generate plan

YourServer:Port Input server IP and user name password ,
then click Refresh button
Select network , click Refresh button
Select newly added player and click Save
and Quite button to finish player

In the Playlists page, click “New”
to create a new playlist
Give the playlist a meaningful name,
and choose a type.
Media: Audio, Video, Image, Widget,
RSS and webpage

In the Channels page, click “New” to
create a new channel
Set the NAME, Channel type and Frameset

channel setting, users can
switch the different frame and
design here.
Enter Schedules page from Channel
page or here.

Set the playback recurrence.
Click Create to save.

Back to Player setting page, set
the channel again.
Note: Remember to SAVE and
GENERATE PLAN.
