TRANE®

The Odyssey air cooled Split Systemfrom Trane offers the latest technologyavailable for today's flexible anddemanding market needs. It offers theoptimum answer from standardeveryday applications to customizedinstallations.

Its design follows the "Plug and Play"concept to offer easy installation, maintenance, and projectmanagement.

Far beyond effective cooling, theOdyssey Splits provied unparalleledbenefits in terms of:- Versatility- Reliability- Simplicity

Everything is in the box

Only a main power supply, low voltagecontrol interfacing refrigerant pipingand charge are necessary, as the restare in the "box".This includes unit mounted starters,PCB board and wall thermostat.

Low installation costs cutstime and saves space

The Odyssey's fully packaged conceptcenters on the phylosophy to reduceinstallation time and costs as well asreduce overall system defects fromproduct to installation in order to delivera defect free product to the customer. From the smaller 1 phase indoor unitsto the modular condensing units, designs are tuned to current marketneeds where space is a premium.

Flexibility

Flexible standard systems do not stophere. Outdoor condensing units canbe matched with virtually an unlimitedcombination of Trane AHUs; from100% fresh air units, to outdoor AHUs,standby systems and even highambient installations.

Features

Scroll CompressorsReliabilityScroll compressors have simplemechanical design with only threemajor moving parts.Scroll type compression providesinherently low vibration. Scrollcompliance provides a completelyenclosed compression chamber whichleads to increased efficiency.

Compressor FEATURESCompliant Scroll- High Efficiency- Better Liquid Handling- Better Debris Handling- Self-compensating for wear("Wears-in" vs. "Wears-out")- 70% fewer moving parts- Low sound levelinternal Line Break Motor ProtectionSuction Gas Motor CoolingSuction ScreenDisc Type Check ValveCentrifugal Oil Pump with Filter andMagnetDU (PTFE) Journal BearingsLow Shutdown Noise
