1.2. Structural ErrorsAs can be seen from the examples mentioned above, some translators focused on the structures of SL so much that they fail to convey all the implicit meaning of TL.The most important thing is that the translations must be done on the basis of the TL grammar that is familiar to the readers. The translator should not depend largely on the structures of the SL but break them, conveying the meaning as much as possible in an appropriate structures in the TL.

1.2. Structural ErrorsIn some languages, on function is expressed by many forms and vice versa. For example, in English the way of giving an advice could be expressed by a number of structures : Why dont you..?, You should/ ought to.., If I were you, Id.., Youd better or I advise you to..

1.2. Structural ErrorsIn addition, some translators did not realize the conversational implicature understood implicitly as follows:Why are you laughing at me? (You are laughing at me.) Translated: My ang ci tao ?Why did you say so? (You should not have said so)Translated:L ra em khng nn lm vy?

1.2. Structural ErrorsShe has still not come. (She was expected to have come by now).Translated: L ra c y phi n ri ch. Whats the time? ( Why are you so late?)Translated: C bit my gi ri khng?
