On this notorious Islamic site we find a rather curious hadith

This hadith depicts Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, meeting people while "laying in his bed dressed in Aisha's clothes".

There are no less than 32 different references to this phenomenon in Islam’s books including "Sahih Muslim"

على مضطجع وهو وسلم عليه الله صلى الله رسول على استأذن بكر أبا أنالبس ثم عائشة مرط فراشه حاجته إليه فقضى كذلك وهو بكر ألبي فأذن

الحال تلك على وهو له فأذن عمر استأذن ثم انصرف

Translation:

Abu Bakr sought permission from Allah's Messenger for entrance (in his apartment) as he had been lying on his bed dressed in Aisha’s clothing...

The following english translation of this same hadith is...inaccurate:

A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (mav peace be upon him), and Uthman both reported that Abu Bakr sought permission from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) for entrance (in his apartment) as he had been lying on his bed covered with the bed-sheet of A'isha , and he gave permission to Abu Bakr in that very state and he, having his need fulfilled, went back. Then Umar sought permission and it was given to him in that very state and..

was translated as (bed-sheet) instead of (clothing) (مرط)

The following hadith clearly states that it was something of a habit for Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam,to dress in female clothing.

This was mentioned in no less than 32 islamic books including "Sahih Al-Bukhari"

The Prophet used to dye his hair with henna (Lawsonia inermis) and katam (Buxus dioica) and his hair hung over his shoulders or earlobes.

In Arabic culture "henna" is used as a hair dye for women
