Illegal travel has and will continue to exist to Cuba. Each traveler assumes the risk of such travel.

Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has expanded the travel categories (12) for US Citizens to Cuba, making legal travel easier and more accessible than previously.

Primary Categories of Travel:

Educational Travel - People-to-People and approved academic programsHumanitarian - Volunteering with an organizationReligious - church groups or other religious entitiesPublic Performances, clinics, workshops, exhibitions, and athletics - for the individual connected to a Cuban entity
