Day 2

Private Tour: Shipwreck & Blue Caves Skinari

Start with a about 1-hour trip by coach to Skinari harbor, on the north side of the island, where you’ll

board a small boat and watch the scenery slide past as your skipper whisks you away across the clear

blue water. Set in the cliffs below Cape Skinari are the Blue Caves, the striking rock formations where

the water reflects more shades of blue than an artist’ palette. You can’t go inside, but the boat will

make a brief stop nearby so that you can capture the colors on camera.

Your next destination is Shipwreck cove, the beautiful bay which is only accessible by sea. You’ll have

around an hour here to cool off in the super – clear water, swim to the beach and see the half-buried

shipwreck or just stay on deck and lap up the sunrays before the boat returns to Skinari and from there

back to the hotel.

Day 5

Private Tour: Assos and Fiskardo Discovery Tour

Visiting Kefalonia you must visit Assos. Feel the charm and the old style of Greece. Have a walk

around the village, have a look up to the impressive ruins of the fortress situated around the Assos

peninsula, have a swim at the small pebbled beach, soak up the unique atmosphere. The views as you

drive down the windy road to the village is splendid. Assos, perhaps one of the most beautiful villages

in Kefalonia or even Greece, is a small secluded village situated around a horse-shoe shaped harbor.

Fiskardo the unique village in the north of the Island is built around a picturesque harbor. The old houses

from the 18th and 19th century give the village its own charme. In the harbor, you can find small sailing

boats to large yachts making their stop here during the summer seasons. You have stunning views to

Ithaca which is only 2,5km away. In ancient times the village was called Panormos. Then, in the Frankish

time the village was renamed Fiscardo after Robert Guiscard who died at Atheras Beach. The romantic

village has a lot of small souvenir shops, restaurants and Bars.

Day 6

Private Tour: Boat Trip in Cephalonia

Enjoy your private boat trip. Your first stop will be at Scorpio Sparti and the surrounding islets of Nidri.

Next, you will head to Meganisi for swimming. Finally, you will stop at Vathi for lunch.

Private Tour: Exciting Jeep Safari Tour

Your safari begins with a scenic drive ascending the main coastal road heading towards the island’s

north coast, passing en route the popular resorts of Alykes, Kontokali and Gouvia. Upon arrival at

Gouvia, your tour continues through Ag.Vassilios and Ano Korakiana before you take a narrow

meandering road passing through Sokraki, one of oldest villages on the island, perched on the

mountain peak and cloaked with pine and olive trees. The tour then continues along a mountain ridge

with panoramic views of the islands Mathraki and Othoni - the northwestern part of Greece - towards

the village of Troumbetta. From Troumbetta follow a narrow country lane in a westerly direction

passing by the villages of Alimatades, Vistonas and Makrades. Here you will have the opportunity to

purchase local produce from the small shops. Continue onto Castellino Restaurant located high up in

the village of Lakones that is renowned for its spectacular panorama of the bay of Paleokastritsa.

Owing to its position the cafe is also known as ‘God’s balcony’. Here you will have the opportunity to

indulge in a typical Greek meze and a glass of wine or ouzo. From Lakones, descend to Paleokastritsa

bay where a stop for swimming (optional) can be made.

Day 9

Private Tour: Footpath to Wine & Olive Oil Tradition

Begin with a scenic drive to the impressive Achilleion Palace, which was built by Empress Elizabeth of

Austria as a refuge from the obligations of the Hapsburg court. Accompanied by your local guide you

will enter the fascinating and fairytale world of Achilleion, the home that the Empress dedicated to her

favorite hero, Achilles. Continue on through the countryside to Triklino Vineyard which situated in

Pelekas upon a hill with a panoramic view of central Corfu. Along with the tour, you will get the chance

to see a short video which demonstrates the traditional wine and olive oil production, from the

collection of the grapes and olives to the taste of the first drop. Of course you will have the opportunity

to taste the home-made local wine and olive oil together with a traditional meze.

Our final destination is the Old Town of Corfu, a UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where you may enjoy

a walking tour. You will discover the town’s beautiful sites such as Saint Spyridon Church, dedicated to

the protector of the island, the charming narrow Venetian alleyways, the famous Esplanade, one of the

largest squares in Europe, the elegant Liston where access in the past was only allowed to the

aristocracy of Corfu who were written down in the “Libro d’Oro’’, the Dimarcheio, or Town Hall, and the

imposing Palace of St Michael and St George. There will be some free time to explore at your leisure

before returning to the port.
