TRIP SCHEDULE

Day 1 - 8th March, HavanaArrival in Havana. Accommodation and Introduction.

Day 2 - 9th March, HavanaOld Havana and historical center exploration. Morning photo walk. During theday urban atmosphere shooting of communist old buildings, traditional retrocars, urban lifestyle and Havana life. Photographic opportunities abound aswe explore the city and interact with its gracious people. Catch the night life ofHavana.

Day 3 - 10th March, Nature & CountrysideSunrise photo walk.Visitation of the natural park Viñales Valley, Pinar del Rio. Countrysideexploration – farm visitation, rural communities, tobacco fields, and culturalheritages in the region (Indian cave, fresco, and other rural sites).

Day 4 - 11th March, VaraderoDeparture and arrival in Varadero. Exploration of the city, it’s mostinteresting neighborhoods and the local community. Learn aboutthe Afro-Cuban religion and culture. Shoot local markets, street artand dance performances. Talk about Cuban music with streetmusicians; step inside local shops to engage cuentapropistas (self-employed workers), part of an expanding private sector.

Day 5 - 12th March, VaraderoCuban dynamics. Capture Cuban movement and spirit in a ballet studio, boxing cluband/or music jams.Sunset seaside walk and night pictures capturing the night life inVaradero.

Day 6 – 13th March, Caribbean BeachesTrip to Cayo Blanco beach. Boat trip. Sea diving and islandsexploration.Caribbean beauty capturing, white sands, crystal ocean water andblue skies.

Day 7 – 14th March, Organizational DayVisit Indian villages, crocodile farm and/or islands visitation.

Organizational day – workshop projects presentation, sum-up andfeedback discussions. Tonight, celebrate our Cuban experience ata farewell dinner.

Day 8 – 15th March, DepartureTravel to Havana. Free afternoon. Departure.

Terms: Motif has licensed qualified professional touroperators to organize and administer the expeditions.We work in partnership with AdventurePlus touragent, who acts only as an agent for anytransportation carrier, hotel, ground operator, orother suppliers of services connected with specificworkshops.
