In the Spring of 2009, QISD joined the WEST TEXAS APPLE CONSORTIUM.It is comprised of over 50 plus schools using the one-to-one initiative.
In addition to the students receiving their MacBooks, each teacher in grades K-12 received:
A MacBook ProCeiling Mounted InfocusDocument Imager10 days of Apple In-ServiceE-instruction Mobile Mobe Boards, V-Clickers and teacher remotes were placed in all math and science rooms, grade 7-12
As a result of the initiative, we have moved from the Developing Tech
Stage to the Advanced Tech and have even reached Target Tech in the area
of Infrastructure:
