PAST & PRESENT WORK PERMITS
I have been the sole designer for the “Procurement Review Series” since June 2011, when I was commissioned on a freelance basis to re-design their three bi-annual publications for Central Government, Local Government and the Health service
I worked on contract at Elegant Resorts for two years, where I became responsible for producing all of their full colour national press advertising
I also produced brochures, magazines, mailers and promotional graphics
The examples shown are advertising and follow up mailer promoting Thailand. The brief was to put a new slant on a DPS ad, so I came up with the idea of two consecutive right hand pages, with the crop on the ad corresponding to the main picture of the first page. This theme ran through many other destinations
Another example this time for Australia
The ads appeared in national glossy magazines
Condé Naste Traveller
Sunday Times Travel

I have worked for Wrexham FC since February 2008, concentrating on the commercial side of things, corporate hospitality, the club shop, and promotion of the clubs conference and banqueting suites.
Festival programmes designed and produced for “Southport Jazz Festival” and “Southport Food and Drink Festival” 2010 & 2011.
Event programme designed and produced for “Glasgow Show” 3 years running (top)
Designed and produced “Glasgow G1 Guide” (bottom) a publication promoting healthy living for young families in Glasgow, featuring venues for activities and lifestyle articles which I researched and wrote
Run Aberdeenshire magazine was produced for Sport Aberdeen as part of the entry pack for competitors of the Balmoral 15 mile trail race, and the Baker Hughes 10k race and fun run, Aberdeen
It provided race event information such as race route, maps, first aid points, race village facilities, timings and places to stay for competitors travelling from outside of the area. Race sponsors and official race charities were also promoted within the magazine
I was responsible for the design and production of the magazine as well as the editorial content, which I researched and wrote myself
The publication was 60 pages, A4, full colour
