All about VISCO JET agitator technology

The right mixing element for every application

Our VISCO JET mixing elements in use in a range of different versions and sizes. We use closed cones for aqueous to medium viscosity applications and spiral cones for high viscosity products. Both variants are distinguished by the gentle, product-friendly treatment of the mix and prevent air intake.

i VISCO JET with closed cones For aqueous to medium viscosity (approx. 40,000 mPas) applications For example: Dairy products, beverages, paints + varnishes, chemicals, pharmaceutical products

This low-speed mixing element achieves high dispersion power despite a low circumferential speed. And that saves a lot of energy. At the same time, the proven VISCO JET cone system guaran-tees homogeneous mixing of the container.

VISCO JET agitator technologyVISCO JET proves beyond doubt that for successful agitation, its not the speed thats decisive, but the technique. Its particular strength lies in the special geometry of the conical mixing elements. With its cleverly-designed spatial and angular relationships, the agitator ensures an optimum mixing process in a very short time, even at the lowest circumferential speeds.

Accelerated laminar flows at the cone exit and the reverse turbulence created by dynamic pressure at the cone entrance interact as the agitator rotates, genera-ting high-momentum mixing movements.

Extremely material-friendly and highly efficient agitator processes with very little energy expenditure are now possible. This applies particularly to tanks with very high volumes.

Big technology now fits through the smallest con-tainer opening: Our fold-away VISCO JET mixing elements can make themselves surprisingly small and will fit through any DN150 opening.Inside the container, they continue to display their full effect: Even at low circumferential speeds, they fold out to their full diameter to reach the entire contents of the container.
