Target population Personnel who specialise in borescope inspection damage assessment
General description Provides identification of the borescope access ports, practical training with all the necessary equipment to make the inspection on each engine type, identifies and locates all the relevant information on engine damage limits, in the aircraft or engine maintenance manuals, and reviews their impact. The course also identifies and explains the requirements of all scheduled, non-scheduled or special inspections applicable.
Notes Students should be engineers, mechanics or personnel involved in borescope inspection and assessment.
