DID YOU KNOW?

Under the OSHA Asbestos General Industry Standard, Annual Two-Hour Asbestos Awareness Training is required for any employees that meet the following criteria:

� Work in pre-1981 buildings (unless a survey has determined the building is asbestos-free).

and

� Perform janitorial or maintenance activity in areas of a building that contain asbestos.

or

� Skilled trades workers such as construction and demolition workers, mechanical/HVAC techs, elevator techs, electricians, plumbers, window installers, roofers, and building finish contractors (such as flooring installers).
