As of June 1, 1995, Eaton Corporation has revised the size of the mounting holes on all remote control housings (see illustra-tion below). The new design increased the diameter and removed the chamfer on the mounting holes of the remote housing.

Capscrews replace the studs and nuts that once held the remote control to the transmission shift bar housing. To mount theremote control you must use the proper fastener for that design level. If the old design level remote control is ordered, the newdesign level remote control will be substituted in its place.

Tighten all fasteners to 35 - 45 lbs. ft.
