Listed within this bulletin are several Bible study classes andprograms that are offered almost every day of the week. Weshould all be very proud of the leaders and teachers of theseclasses, because they strive to help us learn more about Godand how we can apply the scriptures to our daily lives. Inaddition, our ministers preach the Bible from the pulpit everySunday. Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are reallymy disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth willset you free. [John 8:31-32] The Restoration Movement ofindependent Christian churches is based upon finding truth inthe scriptures and worshiping God in many ways. Our Coffee Time was a HUGE hit!

So come on out, meet a new friend and enjoy sometime with your friends here at Chaparral!

On November 3rd, 2013, a group of Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist

travelers will be participating in a trip to Israel. It may be one of the mostimportant study programs and working tours we will experience as we bring

together people of multiple religious backgrounds and traditions to share

open dialogue about our faith.We would love for you to join us! Our deadline for

adding additional travelers is May 6th. Dr. FrankShirvinski and Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman-Graf have

agreed to join Danny Ehrlich as our leaders. Our time willinclude hands on experience with a working kibbutz. We

have also been granted special permission for an

excavation process near Jerusalem. Contact Steven

Interfaith Trip to Israel

Frank Shirvinski started a new class onWednesday night called Iron. Join usfor a fun and open exploration of the

basic principles and practices ofChristianity. We will use everything from

clips from the Matrix to readings from Annie Dillard. We willmeet for no more than an hour beginning at 6:30 p.m. in theEast Hall. Childcare can be provided for children 5 & under.

Communion/Lords Supper

All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of

Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with

our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take

the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some

prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along.

Offering

In all of our services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an

act of worship and voluntary.

Nursery

We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on

the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
