The UK Education sector contains more than 45,000 Schools, Further and Higher Education establishments. In addition, there is also an additional 2500 independently managed schools and Universities.
The current Education budget, valued circa £85 Billion, highlights the ongoing Government investment required to maintain the Education estate across the UK. However Health and Safety within the Education sector remains a major concern with more than 2.2 million working days per annum lost on average over recent years, as highlighted by the HSE.
Moving forward, and to minimise this concern, it is important that projects within the Education sector are undertaken by independently accredited Integrators to install Fire, Life Safety & Security systems that meet the requisite legislative standards.
