November Meeting
The regular monthly meeting will be on November 8th in the McCauley Center at St. Patrick at 7:00pm. Note that this is a change from the first Thursday of the month. Please make plans to attend.
All Saints Mass Thursday, November 1st is the Solemnity of All Saints. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be celebrated at 6:00pm on the Holy Day at St. Patrick, Monona.
All Souls Mass The Feast of All Souls is Friday, November 2nd. The Trinity Cluster would like to remember your loved ones at a 6:00pm Mass of Remembrance at St. Mary, McGregor. We ask a member of your family to light a candle in memory of your loved one, who passed away in the last year. Please call Carla at the Trinity Cluster Office 539-4442 by October 30th to be added to our names for remembrance.

formally Social Justice Share A Bag The Food Shelves need our help!!! With the holidays fast approaching, there is a need for food on the pantry shelves. Because they can purchase $6 to $11 worth of food from the Waterloo Food Pantry for every dollar we donate, we are asking for monetary donations. We will be furnishing reminder envelopes for your donation next weekend, November 3rd & 4th. We are relying on your generosity in returning your envelope with checks payable to “Trinity Cluster”. Please give prayerful consideration to this opportunity to serve the St. Olaf Food Shelf and Postville Food Pantry. Monetary donations should be returned the weekend of November 10th & 11th.

With the capital campaign underway, we will be publishing periodic updates as to the 3 year pledged amounts, project progress and volunteer requests. We have established several options for contributions including, cash, On-Line Giving, IRA Required Minimum Distributions, gifts of grain, stock, or property and GoFundMe. If you have any questions regarding how to donate please contact Fr. Nils or Joe & Sharon Brooks. A report with discussions from the Town Hall Meeting will be mailed to each parishioner the first week in November.

Fall Dinner-Your help is needed!! The First Annual Fall Dinner is in 2 weeks. Everyone's help is needed to make this event a success. We are looking for help from 8am until Noon on Saturday, Nov. 10th to make the ham balls and set up for the dinner. If you are able to assist, please join us. Any and ALL help is appreciated for both Saturday and Sunday. Auction items should be brought in before Noon on Saturday or dropped at the Postville library.

Message from Fr. Nils
At the end of August, I was able to complete the first part of my doctoral thesis which was having meetings with a group of parishioners who have experienced racism in their lives. The meetings included prayer, reflections and group sharing. Now I am writing the first draft which needs to be submitted by December for revisions. I have been granted an interim sabbatical, by the archdiocese, and will take two weeks off to go back to school in order to write without any distractions. The writing will require details and additional research. Hence, I will be away from Monday – Friday on November 5-9 and 12-16. Daily Masses will be cancelled during that time and Care Center Masses will be rescheduled to the end of the month. I ask for your continued prayers and support and for God’s blessings upon our Cluster family. Amen. ~Fr. Nils

Annual Report Following the return of Fr. Nils from his interim sabbatical, the Cluster office will be compiling the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Annual Financial Report for publication.
