7 Let me tell of the decree: the Lord saidlo me, "You are my son, I have fathered

you this day, 8 ask it of Me, and I willmake the nations your domain; your

estate the limits of the earth".

6 For the LORD declares, " I haveplaced my chosen king on the throne

in Jerusalem, my holy city."7 The king proclaims the LORD'S decree:"The LORD said to me. 'You are my son,

Today I have become your Father. 8Only ask and I will give you the nations asyour inheritance, and the ends of the eartt

as your possession.

32 God's promise to our ancestors hascome true in our own time, 33 in thatGod raised Jesus. This is what the

second psalm is talking about whenit says concerning Jesus, 'You aremy Son. Today I have become your

father'
