What does the Holy Spirit mean to you?

Do you think you have ever felt it?

When you “get a hunch” that you should do something, do you think that is

the Holy Spirit?

How have you ever felt the Holy Spirit moving in your life? Jesus tells the Disciples: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Could you drop everything and go? Have you ever regretted not doing what the Holy Spirit told you to do? Do you think YOU could ever be the hands of the Holy Spirit? What are some of your favorite images of the Holy Spirit:

TO DO: Lots of things on the theme of Trinity Sunday

Take a Trinity walk: Walk around your neighborhood. What things can you find that show you God’s work in the world? What things can you find that show Jesus’ work in the world? Is the Holy Spirit nudging you to do something in this world? Use your sidewalk chalk and leave some nice messages, or some of the Celtic symbols you can find on these pages, for others to find. Did you spy any trinity trees – trees that have three main trunks?

Turn your window into a stained- glass decoration! This sounds so fun: You’ll need good tape (painter’s

Be sure to wash your window first, (especially if you still have an Easter design on it) and don’t skip the liquid dish soap in the finger paints.

Think in threes: Can you do your three’s multiplication table? What do you notice about all numbers that are divisible by three? Can you think of things that always have three parts?

Learn how to waltz! Go in any direction you would like, but basically, 1-2-3.

Make a Trinity Sundae: Do you know how to make a banana split? Take a banana and cut it in half to make two sides of a boat. Scoop in three different kinds of ice cream, or maybe you would like to just use Neopolitan ice cream that is already three in one. Cover each flavor of ice cream with a different kind of sauce. Top with nuts and a cherry. This would make a nice annual tradition.

And another excuse to make dessert: Make some trinity bananas: Cut off the top of a banana. Press

down on the middle of the fruit that you see sliced. Now peel the rest of the banana. It should be separating into three pieces. You could dip this open end into some chocolate sauce and freeze it very briefly in your freezer before eating.
