Journey from the Prague „We set on the journey at

12:30 from Masarykovo station. We travelled

through Germany and Belgium to French-English

port in Calais. In Calais we got on the ferry and sailed to Dover and then to London. It was a long

and tiring journey.“

Calais

„When we arrived in London we walked along the river Thames over the Tower Bridge to the Tower of London. We saw Shakespeare's Globe, Milennium Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Golden Hinde and St. Catherine Docks. In the evening we

arrived at the meeting point where our families were waiting for us.“

Day 2: London

„It was about 7:00 and we had to get up . Somebody had corn flakes or cereals with milk, somebody had toast and butter and

and jam.The next day we went to the Stonehenge. After that, we went to Exeter.

In this town, we visited Exeter Cathedral and Rougemont Castle. We saw the river Exe, too. At the end of the day we rode to

the new families in the Newton Abbot. Everybody had to start speaking to our

„new parents“.“

Day 3: Exeter4/9

„We got lunch boxes and rode to Plymouth. We went to the small Mayflower port and

to the National Marine Aquarium. There were a lot of

coloured fishes and sharks swimming in the huge tanks.

When we were in NP Dartmoor we saw 30 meters

high amazing waterfall.“

Day 4: Dartmouth5/9

„In the morning we rode to the town Dartmouth for visiting these

sights: The Cherub Pub, Butterwalk, the river Dart, Darthmouth castle. In the

afternoon we went to the Torquay town and Babbacombe +

Oddicombe beaches. This day was the last one we spent in families.“

„Last day in the UK. We had lots of sights on the list like Natural History Museum or Science Museum, Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament with Elizabeth tower (Big Ben),

Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar square, Soho, China town and the best of this day was London Eye with 4D cinema.“

Day 6: London again7/9

2014

„ On this trip, we tried to speak English, learned about

sights and have seen the culture of England. We

arrived at 5:00 PM to Prague. The journey from London to

Prague took about 16 hours.“
