Kathie McGuire suggested this great technique. One piece of 12”x12” cardstock yields three great looking cards that fit into a regular business-sized envelope. These are GREAT for swap cards!

Three for One -- SWEET!

Step One: Score the 12” piece at the 3” mark.

Step Two: Turn the cardstock, and cut three pieces of 12” x 4” pieces. Each should have a 3” scored area.

Step Three:Decorate a piece of 2-¾" x 3-¾" cardstock. Mat that on a contrasting or complementary piece of 2-7⁄8" x 3-7⁄8" cardstock.

Step Four: Attach the matted piece, with embellishments as desired, to the 3” flap on one of the cardstock pieces.

Step Five: Decorate a piece of 8-¾"x 3-¾" cardstock and attach it to the base of the card. When decorating, keep in mind that the farthest 3" will be covered with a flap.

Step Six: Finish decorating as desired, and complete the other two cardstock pieces as desired.
