The 1200+ acres at Monarch Valley Whitetails are packed with mineral dense soil and lush greenery that fuel world-class whitetail antler growth. Combine that with our fields of alfalfa, soybean, and corn; wildlife ponds; high protein food plots; a stress free environment; and superior genetics for monster bucks like you’ve never seen.

We want to share that large-bodied, heavy-antlered whitetail buck oasis with you, and we want your hunt to be the hunt of a lifetime. At Monarch Valley Whitetails, we will provide you with an exciting and successful trophy buck hunt that you’ll want to take again and again.

The most advanced hunters and the hunting novice will all find their niche here. Our hunt packages are designed for you and your skill level. Guides will help you choose the best way to strategize your hunt for a successful harvest opportunity. You’ll have the option to spot and stalk trophy bucks. You can also choose to hunt your trophy buck out of elevated box blinds with heat, double steel ladder stands, or ground blinds.

When you’re not hunting, you’re vacationing. You’ll find yourself at a large outdoor fireplace with a vast countryside surrounding you and a star-filled sky above you. Inside our lodge, you’ll revel in charmingly rustic quarters with top-notch accommodations.

Our Story What Our mission at Monarch Valley Whitetails LLC (MVW) is to share our beautiful, scenic, coulee region farm with hunters who are passionate about large-bodied, heavily-antlered whitetail bucks. Since 1995 we have managed our land for trophy bucks with the quality deer management principle, “Let them go so they will grow”. This conviction has allowed us to harvest many wide-framed, typical bucks that make the Boone and Crocket record book.

Who Dan Gallagher Dan has a real love for whitetail deer and strives to produce trophy class bucks on his home farm and leased lands. Dan is an experienced hunter and licensed guide who has hunted throughout the United States from Alaska to the Sonoran Desert, as well as Yukon, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Asia and Africa.

Tim Johnson Tim is an avid hunter who will share with you some of his secrets for harvesting mature whitetail bucks. Tim will place you where you are most likely to harvest your trophy on a Semi-guided Open Range Hunt or he’ll guide you to a location where he has pre-scouted a monster buck and aide in your trophy harvest on a Fully-Guided Ranch Hunt.

Fully-guided Ranch Hunts Overview Our Fully-guided Ranch Hunts, for trophy whitetail buck, are for the discriminating trophy hunter wanting a challenging hunt in an area of known monster bucks. MVW’s experienced guides guarantee you the opportunity to harvest a trophy whitetail buck on this hunt. These hunts are conducted out of heated elevated box blinds, ladder stands and ground blinds. Before you hunt you’ll strategize with your guide to tailor the perfect trophy hunt.

Dates: Book 3 days and 4 nights from September 1st – January 30th. Weapon: Archery/Riffle/Muzzleloader/ Handgun License: MVW provides the license on these hunts.

Semi-guided Open Range Hunts Overview On the Semi-guided Open Range Hunts, you will be hunting bucks in the 130” to 170” class range; whitetail bucks from mid 140′s to high 160′s are common.

These hunts are conducted on fenceless hunting land at MVW’s trophy-managed, leased lands. We’ll pre-scout your hunting locations to get you near resident and rutting whitetail bucks.

You may choose to modify your Semi-guided Open Range Hunt, at anytime during your stay, by switching to a Fully-guided Ranch Hunt. We’ll discount the Fully-guided Ranch Hunt for 50% of your Semi-guided Open Range Hunt package price.
