When you start your computer and…Your Computer doesn’t Respond

Sick Computer needs treatment!!!!

Problem

Please follow the steps as mentioned at your own.

Remedies at your Help

1. Check that all the “Plugs” are properly inserted in the Sockets.

If CPU starts and Monitor Doesn’t.

2. Check the “Power” button for monitor which is on the monitor itself.

3. If problem persists then check the cords of the monitor that they are properly plugged in the monitor and in the CPU.

Another Problem

Internet is not responding properly.

Check the following:

1.Whether the Netgear icon is RED.2.Whether the Netgear window say “ Connected to

Router” and not “Connected to Internet”.3.Whether it says “Connected to Internet” but yet

not able to work on internet.

FOR Wi-Fi Users

Answers to these Question:

Step 1-2-3:

1.If the icon is RED, check the Netgear window if it says “Disabled”.2.Uncheck Disabled option and click “WAP” or “WEP”.3.Enter the passphrase which is 12345 in WEP. It will automatically

generate the password and then click “Apply”. 1st it will connect to Router and then to Internet.

Traffic Signal for Internet

Green Signal – Excellent or very good- internet will work properly.

Yellow Signal - Not so Good - internet will work but a little slow.

Red Signal – No Signal- internet is connected but won’t be able to work

For LAN UsersAlthough LAN users will not have to wait for any signal (red, yellow or green).

You will find two blue colored computer icon side by side. It means your internet is connected to your PC.

But………

If the computer icons are crossed then: # Unplug the LAN cord and re-plug it.# Wait for some time until the computer icon turns blue and star blinking.

If problem still persists then report to Admin.

For any other complaint regarding the computer:

1.Please ask for a complaint Register which is with Admin.2.Fill in the complaint in the Register.3.Admin will take action accordingly.
