RyAN Neville NAMed cHief AdMiNistRAtive OfficeR At MARsHfield MedicAl ceNteR-westON
Marshfield Clinic Health System announced today that longtime health care executive Ryan Neville began his new role as chief administrative officer for Marshfield Medical Center-Weston.
Neville, who has served as the CAO at Marshfield Medical Center- Neillsville for eight years, was named to this position as Marshfield Clinic Health System celebrates the upcoming first anniversary of its acquisition of the Weston hospital. He also serves as CAO of Marshfield Medical Center-Stevens Point, currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2022.
“I am honored to carry Marshfield Clinic Health System’s mission and vision into the Wausau, Weston, Stevens Point region as we identify opportunities to further serve these communities,” Neville said.
In Neillsville, Neville led the former Memorial Medical Center through its affiliation with Marshfield Clinic Health System in 2018. He oversaw the planning and construction of a new 100,000 square-foot medical campus in Neillsville featuring a 16-bed hospital and 24/7 emergency department that opened in May.
Neville also served a crucial function during the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as incident commander for the incident command team at Marshfield Medical Center, the Health System’s flagship hospital in Marshfield.
“Our acquisition of Marshfield Medical Center-Weston was a major investment in the region and now serves as the cornerstone of a significant presence we’ve had in the Wausau and Weston area for more than two decades,” said Craig Telega, chief integration and service line officer. “Ryan Neville and our team in Weston will guide our growth here as we continue to expand the services and medical resources for our patients.”
Neville joins Jackie Frombach, the Health System’s eastern region chief nursing officer who served as the hospital’s interim CAO, Dr. Chad Craig, vice president of medical affairs, as the key leadership team at Marshfield Medical Center-Weston.
Sally Zillman, administrative director of patient care services at Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville, will serve as interim CAO in Neillsville.

Marshfield Insurance Golf Fundraiser “Fore Roger” Raises more than $26,000 for Alzheimer’s Research
Marshfield Insurance’s “Fore Roger” fundraiser took place on July 14, 2021, with more than 40 teams joining to fundraise for Alzheimer’s research. The 4th annual event raised $26,317, for a total of more than $80,000 raised since the event started.
Fore Roger is held in honor of Marshfield Insurance founder Roger Arnoldy, who passed away in 2012 from Lewy Body Dementia. His son Nick now carries on the Marshfield Insurance legacy as President and CEO.
“All the money raised stays in Central Wisconsin to assist families affected by Dementia & Alzheimer’s, in honor of my dad,” said Nick. “We are proud to carry on his legacy at Marshfield Insurance.”
Alzheimer’s disease affects an estimated 5.7 million Americans and is the 6th leading cause of death among all adults, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Proceeds from Marshfield Insurance’s annual “Fore Roger” event go towards a Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation fund to assist families affected with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, provide capital for research, and help purchase medical supplies.
At various holes, golfers had the option to donate & enter into exclusive raffles and events. Two-time Rose Bowl champ and former All-Big Ten offensive lineman for the Wisconsin Badgers, Bill Ferrario was again in attendance. Also joining was 1999 Heisman Trophy winner and Big Ten Player of the Year, Ron Dayne.
“It was great to have Bill back again this year and fun to welcome Ron, too,” said Arnoldy.
After the golf event, golfers and friends were invited to Hotel Marshfield for live music from nationally-acclaimed blues rock band Jocelyn & Chris Arndt and a silent auction event.
“Jocelyn & Chris are incredible and we loved rocking out to them here in Marshfield,” said Arnoldy. “We are thankful for everyone that was able to attend or support the event and concert in any way! We live in an awesome community.”
Currently, Marshfield Insurance represents over 40 “A-Rated” insurance companies, staffs approximately two dozen licensed agents, and has two locations. Marshfield Insurance is now the largest insurance office in the Marshfield Area offering assistance in commercial, home, auto, life, health & specialized business insurance programs. Their services reach many different states throughout the U.S. with the main policy base being Central Wisconsin.
Consumers have many different options when it comes to selecting an agency, and Marshfield Insurance Agency’s development is due primarily to service and a customer-first focus. Their commitment is to provide customers with the best insurance value and service available through dedication and technology.
“We are honored to serve customers throughout Central Wisconsin, and especially thankful for all of the support we receive both as a business and through this important event,” said Nick. “We hope everyone is able to attend next year!”

Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union President David Murphy Named a CU Magazine “Rock Star”
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) President David Murphy has been named a Credit Union Magazine 2021 Credit Union Rock Star. Each year, Credit Union Magazine recognizes unique, innovative, and creative people in the credit union movement. “It’s an honor to be recognized by my peers as a rock star within the industry. It’s easy to be wrapped up in the daily operations of serving our members and forget about the impact we make within the entire credit union industry in working with other professionals,” said Murphy.
Murphy assumed the role of MMCCU President in May of this year. “My goal as President at MMCCU is to not only develop/maintain a great knowledgeable staff in helping our members but to be a mentor to others within the industry, regardless if they are a competitor or if they operate in another part of the country,” he said. “I want to thank whomever nominated me for this honor, and I appreciate my efforts in making our industry stronger being recognized by peers.”
CU Rock Stars are recognized for their expertise, dedication, and passion, and will be featured in a digital campaign sponsored by Fiserv.
“Being recognized as a credit union rock star validates the work we are doing to best serve our members. The goal is not simply to be recognized but to put forth our best effort every day to serve our members to the best of our ability,” said Murphy. “ These recognitions help confirm we are on the right track to succeeding as an organization.” Founded in 1965, Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) is a closed charter, not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to exclusively serving the financial needs of employees in the medical community and their immediate families, therefore designed to best serve the financial needs of this specific group of people. Childcaring offers FREE child care referral services
Scholarship Aid
The Scholarship Aid program assists families who find it difficult to pay a child care bill and reside in Wood County or some
parts of Clark County. Currently, the program limits families to a one-time use of funds. The Scholarship Aid program
targets families who are between 185% and 200% of the federal poverty level. Thanks to support from United Way,
limited-term child care assistance is paid directly to the regulated child care provider.
Good Start Grants (GSG)
Do you need help paying for child care? GSG provides financial assistance
(up to 65%) for eligible families to ensure they have access to quality, affordable
child care. For application materials and guidelines, visit our website:
(https://childcaring.org/needhelppaying/). GSG varies by county and is dependent
on continued funding. Please call or visit our website for the most current funding
information, and eligibility guidelines.
DCF Fall 2021 School Year Guidance for the
Early Care and Education Community
As Wisconsin reopens and heads back to work, families are starting to assess their child care needs. The Department of
Children and Families (DCF) recognizes this is a challenging time for child care providers and families. DCF has produced
a series of guidance documents to help families navigate making decisions around enrolling their child in a group or family
child care program, finding safe, high-quality care and staying safe in the months ahead. To view the guidance and
resources visit: (https://dcf.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/childcare/families#top). Check the DCF website frequently for the most
up-to-date information.
A parent receiving GSG said, “At the height of our child care needs, we had four children in daycare - without GSG, our monthly costs would have easily topped $2000–there is no way we could have afforded that...but we couldn’t afford one of us not to work either. GSG allows us both to continue working, further our careers, and our children to get the socialization
and learning benefits of being in daycare.”

SAFER WATER IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND With more widespread calls for stricter sanitary measures and practices, as well as a heightened risk of refilling the same cup or personal water bottle, Culligan Water’s single-use cups help curb the spread of germs.
