THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

THE TOPP TWINS THE GRAND OLE T’OPPRY

AN EVENING WITH DAME KIRI

At last, The Phantom of The Opera comes to Taranaki! Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist.

One of the most anticipated productions in decades, New Plymouth Operatic Society presents Andrew Lloyd Webber’s mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breath taking special effects, magically combined to bring this tragic love story to life in July 2014.

Well-loved New Zealand entertainers Lynda and Jools Topp are taking to the road with a new show paying homage to country music greats. Reminiscent of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, the Topps’ hilarious characters, the Ginghams, will host the show just as the Minnie Pearls did back in Nashville in the 1930s.

Audiences can expect the best in country music from rockabilly to bluegrass, comedy and gospel, and even a visitation by Country Music Hall of Famers channelled in by the Topp Twins’ characters.

Repeat Offender is about that moment where every part of your body wants to smash something in half, then taking a deep breath, reassessing the situation….. and doing it anyway. It’s about the choice between letting things ruin

your day, or being a Teflon coated duck’s back. It’s about picking your battles, knowing when to hold them and when to fold them.
