Vocabulary:Tsunami- A tsunami is a giant wave created by

an underwater earthquake or even an above water earthquake. It could also be caused by a submarine landslide or another disturbance.

11 , 2011.

It had waves and winds as fast as 800km/hr, off the coast of japan at 2:46pm.

On march 10, 2015, a japanese national police agency confirmed 15,891 deaths, 6,152 injuries, and also 2,584 people missing, and 228,863 people living away from their home.

ConclusionAs scientists have recorded, this

tsunami/underwater earthquake was the most vast to ever have struck japan in history, and probably years to come.

I see why the scientists would think that, as this event was a HUGE eye-opener for Japanese civilians in the area, because this tsunami caused a crazy amount of destruction.
