TUBE INDIA INTERNATIONAL 2016 International Tube Association – India Chapter will be holding a one day symposium INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS IN TUBE AND PIPE MANUFACTURE in association with Messe Dusseldorf India on October 7 2016 in Mumbai. This event is being held alongside the "Tube India International 2016" exhibition organized by Messe Düsseldorf India, from 5 – 7 October 2016. The international symposium is organized in the context of the Indian economy growing at a rate of 7.4% well ahead of the large economies like China, Brazil, USA and Germany. The expanding economy offers unique opportunities for the tube and pipe industry both ferrous and non-ferrous to augment their range, volumes and reliability. Sectors which are growing rapidly include automotive, consumer goods and infrastructure. Under the new initiative of the Government of India to "Make in India" investors from around the world are flocking to India to set up and expand their global operations. Demographically nearly 60% of India’s population is below 30 years and their aspirations of the values are driving not only the quantity but also expectations on precision, durability, safety and economy. These pose unique challenges to any manufacturer. India needs to be at the forefront. With this in mind the symposium would lay stress on innovation, creativity and new practices related to manufacturing and development that are path breaking in their own way globally. It is a very good opportunity for professionals, researchers and organizations in the areas of manufacturing, research, new product development, value enhancement and durability to acquire knowledge and gain exposure to best practices of stake holders in the tube and piping industry. The symposium would add tremendously to the Knowledge Capital of the manufacturers, users, professionals who would continue to make new investments to improve technology, productivity, quality and reliability of products and processes.. International Tube Association typically encourages manufacturers, researchers, users of tube and pipe products, educationists and practitioners to attend this symposium, participate in its proceedings and exchange ideas and knowledge with the global best in the industry. Mumbai is the business capital of India. No visit of a business visitor to India is complete without a visit to Mumbai. With the Symposium and the Exhibition being held at the same venue, every delegate would benefit from their contiguous presence.
