Cost of the 2013 book pack is $45 per student. CLEAN UP AUSTRALIAN DAY Clean Up Australia Day was held last Friday. Thankfully the rain stayed away for us to clean around the school grounds. Once again we were all surprised at just how much rubbish we managed to find. All students in years K-6 were armed with gloves and a rubbish bag and they enjoyed making our school neat and dy. Check out our photos on page 2! FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL—YR 3-6 Unfortunately this acvity has been cancelled due to the state of the grounds. Council has been unable to mow or maintain the fields due to the ongoing wet weather. K/1/2 PRE-SCHOOL VISIT K/1/2 have been lucky enough to be invited to the Pre-School to join them in the ‘Farm Animal’ show. On Monday 25 March K1-2 will be walking down to the Pre-School to be entertained by the ‘Farm Animal’ Show. Cost will be $6.00 please find a note included in this newsleer and return as soon as possible. STUDENT UPDATE FORM Accompanying this weeks newsleer is a form to update the school on any of your details that may have changed. Could you please return these to school as soon as possible even if there are no changes to allow us to have the most current informaon available. CANTEEN The Canteen will re-open on Monday March 18. The lunch menu will be Tacos and a drink. The cost will be $4.00. Please order as per normal. Recess foods will be available. GARDEN MAINTENANCE Today students turned over the soil to start a new year in the vegie garden. We planted: sugar snap peas, beetroot, cabbage, spinach, broccoli and onions. Hopefullly the weather will be kind to us and our seedlings will take off. The students really enjoy working in the garden and love seeing the plants mature and harvesng the produce. UNIFORM STOCKS We have received a delivery of uniform stock - so if you need to purchase new uniform items come on in to the office. A reminder too, that as the Autumn weather turns cooler there are stocks of warm full zip front and 1/4 zip front (or ‘zip tab’) winter jackets available right now in a range of sizes. Clean Up Australia Day was held last Friday. Thankfully the rain stayed away for us to clean around the school grounds. Once again we were all surprised at just how much rubbish we managed to find. Tucabia Netball Club

Netball starts this Saturday March 16 with the Tucabia Diamonds 10/11/12 years

playing at 12.30pm. Please be at the courts by 12 o’clock.

If you have not handed in your rego form please bring it to Netball on Saturday Debbie

will collect them.

Fees– Need to be paid as soon as possible any money handed to your coach or

Debbie needs to be in a sealed envelope with your name and the amount enclosed

written on it.

CANTEEN ROSTER REQUEST FORM - TERM 1 2013

The school canteen is run entirely by parents for the benefit of all children at the school. The

children love buying something from the canteen, especially when their own parent is there to serve

them. Toddlers are welcome to come along with you for the day but because of the O.H. & S. Act

they are not allowed in the canteen. Remember the more helpers the fewer days we have to do.
