Our sessions in the library are very enjoyable as the children share and read the books.
We studied chemical changes in science. We experimented with vinegar and a raw egg. The result was a bouncing ball.

Dear parents, carers and community members,Welcome to week 3 and a big thank you to everyone for being mindful of the current COVID restrictions regarding our school setting.
Our netball and touch teams made us very proud with their performance at Lismore last week. Everyone conducted themselves respectfully and supported their teammates well. The netball team were successful in progressing to the next round and will play Yamba at Casino West, the date is yet to be announced.
Our School Athletics Carnival will take place on Thursday 29 July but unfortunately no spectators are allowed on site. Students will stay in their house area and there will be a canteen special lunch available to order.

“Awesome to see you all speaking so respectfully to friends and teachers; being responsible, and playing safely in all areas of our school. Well done!”
There will be a P&C meeting on Wednesday afternoon in the library at 4pm. Everyone is welcome and COVID guidelines will be in place. All attendees MUST QR code and sign in to the school, wear a mask and be vigilant in social distancing and hygiene measures.
This term our GOLD award will be laser skirmish and all students are working hard to be safe, responsible and respectful to achieve this goal.
Our attendance figures continue to improve and it is wonderful to see such a high number of students at school more than 90% of the time. Regular attendance is essential for students to be engaged in ongoing learning in the classroom.
Have a great week!

Our value this week is
PATIENCE Having patience means you can remain calm, even when you’ve been waiting for a long time
or trying to teach someone how to do something and they just don’t get it.
It is wonderful to see our students waiting while someone is speaking and not interrupting.
It is a joy to watch our students carefully explaining the rules to a game in different ways so their friends understand. Patience is important in overcoming frustration. It allows us time to think and make good choices. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a thoughtful outlook on life.
Patience leads to wisdom and success.
