• Earned his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Colorado.

• Pre-academic career; president of both a investment real estate firm, a stock brokerage firm and been an SEC Registered Investment Adviser.

• He has been a Certified Financial Planner licensee since 1976.

• Currently works as Department Head of the Financial Services Dept.
