• Short story of the fan car:• Wesley was excited to try out his fan car. He carried it to the track,

placed it on the start line, and clicked the fan on. The motor began to spin the propellers and the car began to move forward.

• “Yes! It’s working!” shouted Wesley as he pumped his fist in the air.• As Wesley eagerly searched for people to share his excitement with,

he failed to notice a broken piece of pencil on the track. The fan car ran into the wood, fell over, and a propeller broke off.

• When Sonney pointed out what happened, Wesley got sad.
