two Junior ensembles, the
League provides many String Scholarships to students in Tulare
County to offset the cost of private lessons. They also provide After-
School string programs for at risk youth at both Crowley Elementary,
Visalia and Roosevelt Elementary, Tulare.

to continue offering the Junior Youth Orchestras program or by

TULARE COUNTY YOUTH ORCHESTRAS – 2018/19
JUNIOR STRINGS – LISA FRITZ, DIRECTOR
A string orchestra consisting of beginning violin, viola, cello, and bass players, meeting on Thursdays once a week for a one hour evening rehearsal.
Recommended ages: Any age through 8th grade with at least one year of
playing experience, and a member of their school orchestra, if applicable.
