At 5 p.m., we had a short break to prepare ourselves for Dinner in the Hotel (7

p.m.)

Thursday, 13th

November

The group was picked up at 9 a.m. by a

lovely, small bus that seemed to be made

especially for the 18 of us. We drove towards the

city and got to see the nice coast towns along the

way in daylight.

We had really good times together by

doing shopping, wandering around city and

learnt a lot of interesting knowledge about

the places which we visited. We bought

some presents from Turkey to give our

friends when we returned our hometown. İsmail showed us the most important places

and then we had some 40 minutes to walk

around on our own before we started our

journey back to Hotel at 3.30 p.m.

We arrived at the hotel at 5.15 p.m. and

started our workshop shortly after. During the

workshop, we first discussed the program for

the coming days and that

it is difficult to make changes according to the

wishes of all participants. We agreed to follow the program as much as possible, to avoid

extra costs and a lot of extra work for the host

countries. We also talked about the definition of

a fairy tale, which can differ between countries.

The third detail we discussed was how to

compose and use the fairy tale questionnaire to

children and parents/grandparents. The results

of the questionnaire should be used as a base

for the coming work in our respective

countries. We do not have to report the

results. One of our partners will mail us the list

and each country will then choose five

questions for the children and five questions

for the parents/grandparents.

The workshop finished by something similar to “Christmas Eve” – with presents from and

for everybody. Now we all longed for some dinner, and some of us agreed to meet in the

reception at 8 o’clock to go out and eat together.

Friday, 14th

November

This last day before our departure from Turkey

After breakfast together at hotel, we had a final workshop in the school. At that time we

decided on the final version of the questionnaire (questions for children and questions for

parents/grandparents), talked about the meeting in Portugal, different questions /answers,

etc.

Finally, in a festive ceremony, we received our certificates of attendance and we enjoyed

taking photos with the doll. Later, we said, “goodbye” to each-other at the dinner, dreaming

of the next meeting when we will all be together again for the Erasmus+ project.
