5k Run,

Fitness Walk, and Kids Fun

Run

When

Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9 am

Where

Race begins at Lake Superior State University Norris Center indoor track.

The Course

(2011 Turkey Trot and 2012 Cabin Fever Course) Begins on the indoor track and quickly exits through the bay door onto flat, fast bike path with limited turns. The course will be one loop. Finishing at the bay door outside the indoor track. Volunteers will be monitoring road crossings and parking lots but please still use caution. The course is flat and fast!

Kids Fun Run

The kids fun run will occur at: Under 12 10:00 a.m. (1 Mile run) Under 5 10:05 a.m. (200 m) 5 & Older 10:05 a.m. (400 m)

Clocks/Mile Markers

Running time and mile markers will be at the 1- and 2-mile marks as well as the finish.

Water/Aid Stations

Water will be available prior to the start of the race. Afterward fruit and refreshments will be served

T-shirts

Sizes will be assigned as registrations are processed. Only pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt!!

Age Groups

(Male and Female) Under 12, 15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25- 29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55- 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.

Awards

Awards will occur at the conclusion of the kids fun run scheduled for 10:05 am.

Door Prizes

The local community has been a great sup- porter of the Turkey Trot Road Race. Last year there were more draw prizes than there were competitors.

Complete results will be posted on the Lake Superior State University Track and Field web page at www.lssulakers.com

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up and late registration will open at 7:30 am in the Norris Center indoor track. Late registration and pick-up will close at 8:30 am.

Registration

Early (Before November 1, 2012)

$20 per individual for the 5k Run/Walk

$5 per individual for the Kids Runs

$30 for both the 2012 Turkey Trot and 2013 Cabin Fever (4/20/2013)

$50 family rate available (for those living under the same roof)

Late (After November 1, 2012) or Race

Day Registration

$30 per individual for the 5k Run/Walk

$10 per individual for the Kids Runs
