Characteristics:

* KALEPORSELEN's HRC LV fuse switchdisconnectors are used with the NH fuse system;nence, it serves as a "svvitch" and as circuit

protection (fuse) which are two fundamental function,

* in accordance with the vahations in the electrical circuits the required rated current and operatingclass can be achieved by the changing of NHfuses in crcuit protection thus the svvitch can beused for several purposes.

* it possesses a more selectivity than that of circuit breakers.

* it also provides for short circuiting within smaller values than of circuit breakers.

* High short circuit breaking capacity as per VDE and IEC.

* The application is highly economical. When used in circuit the use of NH- Fuse bases svvitch withare quenching chambers, cables, cable terminalsand bars for interval connections and contact resistance.

* Furthermore ,connections are reduced from 12 points .This simplification reduces power losses.electrical accidents and defects caused by faulty connections and contact resistance.t also provides for extra cost savings in assembly labor and reduction in panel board dimensions (Fig1)

* Terminal Possibilities;The cable connection may be made by dip or screw contact system according to the choice.

The LV HRC fuse s w i t c h disconnector , m sizes00,1,2, 3 can be ordered with three terminal types.

it is made of two main parts namely base and bake l i te cover within the made of special sh eet s t e e l , t h e r e is a 3 - p o l e HRC fuse base arcextinggu ishing cel Is, separators for separating the phases from each other and grounding plate.

W ith the installation inside the cover made of special black bakelite , the HRC fuse cartridgesare carried and from are there small w ind ow s , conditions of the fuses may be observed without opening the cover

HRC load fuse svvitch disconnectors may be used e i t h e r a s e m b e d d e d i n t h e p a n e l o r m o u n t e d the panel surface. The two most important pointsto observe in using are, putting the lock systeminto operation by means of closing the cover well and by mounting the load switch on a Metal profileand not on the sheet steel of the panel to prevent bending w hile openning and closing.

The cover can be removed for replacing the fuses,When the cover does not carry fuses it is kept inthe closed position by a safe locking mechanism.

Large clear wi ndows in the cover as sizes00.1 ,2 ,and 3 sw i tch fuses show the ide nt i f i c a t imarks of the HRC fuses vvhether they are in the middle fuses or on the front plate.

AH contacts are shrouded by an insulated platethus avoiding the possibility of accidental contact with live parts .This plate can easily be removed and replaced by operating a locking bar.
