• Natural gas supplies 25% of all

energy used in the U.S.

In 2012, the U.S. consumed 24.7 Tcf

of natural gas.

Consumption of natural gas will

increase 15% by 2035, according to

the U.S. Department of Energy

(DOE).

• Natural gas is delivered to

customers through a safe, 2.3 million

mile underground pipeline system

that includes 300,000 miles of

transmission lines.

miles of 16 or 20 inch diameter

pipeline from National Fuel Supply

to the Empire Tioga County Extension

pipeline in the Town of Caton, NY, or

in Jackson Township, PA.

• Will provide New York utilities and

others connected to Empire with

access to load balancing storage

services on National Fuel Gas Supply

Corporation, and new economic

supplies.
