Grab the license key

Downloads

Unity asset package

Open to start project

New

Any name is fine

Unity account

You will need a Unity account for these steps. If you don’t have one, make one here:

Create project

Import everything

Navigate to prefabs

Delete the main camera

Add the ARCameraprefab to the scene

Add an ImageTargetas well4

Select the camera

Open config

Enter the license key

Target Manager

Add Database

Target Manager

Add Database

Any name

Device

Select the database and click “Add Target”

Add Target

Select the database and click “Add Target”

Add Target

We want an image target

Select the image from your computer

(use images from targets.zip)

A width of 1 is reasonable

Select Unity

Click download

Select Unity

Click download

Open the file

Select the ImageTarget

Choose the database and image

Import the database

Open the Asset store

Search for, download, and import a free model(I’m using the HH-65C Dauphin)

Find the model

Drag the model to the ImageTarget

Position the model with the move, rotate and scale controls

Fine-tune position, relative to the ImageTarget

Select the camera In the VuforiaConfiguration, load and activate the Database

Select play to test

You’ve successfully made your first Augmented Reality App!
