Sr. Mary Collins, OSB: Professor emerita of Liturgical Theology at The Catholic University of America and past prioress of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, Kansas, served fifteen years as a member of the original ICEL (International Commission on the Liturgy), much of it on the translation of the liturgical psalter and on the 1998 English translation of the Sacramentary. Among her numerous publications are Women at Prayer (Paulist, 1985) and Contemplative Participation (Liturgical Press, 1990). She thrives with the gift of a new question. PRESENTERS Robin M. Among her numerous publications are The Substance of Things Seen: Art, Faith, and the Religious Community (Eerdmans, 2003); Face to Face: The Portrait of the Divine in Early Christianity (Fortress, 2004); Living Water: Images, Symbols, and Settings of Early Christian Baptism (Brill, 2011); and Baptismal Imagery in Early Christianity (Baker, 2012). Co-editor of Visual Theology (Liturgical Press, 2009). She currently is working on a book on the history of the Cross. By our shared activities of prayer and work, we create an environment that in turn shapes us. Our imaginations play a key role in shaping our lived experience.
