its obligation to complete the planned agenda in an effective and efficient fashion, a maximum of 30 minutes of public
participation will be permitted at each meeting. Each person addressing the Board shall state his/her name and
address. If several people wish to speak, each person is allotted three (3) minutes until the total time of 30 minutes is
used. During that period, no person may speak twice until all who desire to speak have had the opportunity to do so.

from a 220 day to 230 day, three (3) year contract, for Mr. Derrick Myers to begin at the

Interim Reports were sent home Dec 5th and the first semester ends January 9th.
First semester exams will be given December 17th, 18th, 19th
The Middle School Student Council is also holding a competitive food drive, with the winning class
receiving popcorn and pop during afternoon activities on the 19th. Their goal is 150 items. Middle
School Spelling Bee will be held on the 19th as well.
When we return from Christmas break we will be giving our 10th grade students the practice OGT and
continuing staff professional development regarding the PARCC and End of Course Exams, as well as the
Core Curriculum as we move toward full implementation over the course of the next two school years.

Title: Director of Technology

General Description: Works in collaboration with the administrative team and offers
recommendations for improving, and oversight of, the district’s
technology infrastructure, including the planning, development,
implementation, application, and ongoing evaluation of the district’s
technology systems.
Essential Functions:
1. Ensure safety of students
2. Provide suggestions and recommendations to the administration in the development,
implementation and on-going revision of the district’s technology plan
3. Collaborate with administrative team to develop or procure equipment and software.
4. Coordinate the development and implementation of plans for the acquisition and
maintenance of infrastructure, computer-related hardware and software
5. Develop and maintain an inventory of district owned hardware, software and related
equipment and materials
6. Assist in reviewing and evaluating new commercial software
7. Represent the district in working with outside experts, service providers and other
professionals
8. Assist in the design and delivery of professional development activities related to the
integration of technology in the classroom
9. Coordinate with media specialists, Director of Student Services, and others whose
work relates to the use of technology
10. Seek and monitor the implementation of grants, gifts and similar programs that
support the use of technology
11. Attend technology related workshops and conferences
12. Assist in the development of a technology budget
13. Ensure that efficient and appropriate file server backup procedures are maintained
14. Trouble shoot technology related problems
