TwittER ResearchER project aims to be the most comprehensive directory of emergency physicians on Twitter. Its goal is to analyse and promote social media among EPs. When it was started in 2012, we were following around 600 EPs. At the end of 2015 this number grew to over 2.000. Twitterverse of Emergeny Physicians infographic summarizes results of in-depth analysis of EP Twitter network.
We can only draw conclusions on EPs we follow. There are surely many more on Twitter that we have not yet identified, predominantly from non-English speaking countries. Sex distribution results are estimated by a computer algorithm.
