Provisional $455.00*To qualify for Early Bird Discounts, a unit must have in place $250.00 site deposit per site and must have paid $100.00 per scout going to camp by
March 1 of 2019. Returning Troops that pay that site deposit by August 31, 2019, will be locked into the 2019 Fee Structure. This will save scouts
$20 in 2020.

Older Scout OpportunitiesNew for 2020, both camps will be offering a Program Area specific for older scouts to work on Eagle Required Merit Badges at camp as well as weekly Life to Eagle Presentations. Camp Barton also offers several older scout programs at our Aquatics Area including; Jet Skis, Helmsman Sailing Experience, Intro to Scuba, and Watersports MB.
3. Camp TraditionsCamp Barton was established in 1924 and moved to its current location in 1927, making it one of the oldest continuously operating scout camps in the country. Our Barton B participation program has been around for over 60 years. Tuscarora Scout Reservation was established in 1953 and has developed many traditions of its own including the Tusky Ranger Award and our quarry stone built Outdoor Chapel.
4. Quality StaffBoth camps strive to provide the best program possible for scouts each summer. Our staffs include long time veteran area directors and several teachers who spend their summers with us. Customer Service and your experience are our top priorities
5. CampershipsThe purpose of the council campership program is to make summer camp available to deserving Scouts who could not otherwise afford the attendance fees.

TUSCARORA SCOUT RESERVATIONNestled in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains, the Tuscarora Scout Reservation encompassing 1,200 acres of forested land on the New York/Pennsylvania Border. Unique program areas and campsites surround our picturesque Summit Lake. Tuscarora has over 13 miles of hiking and
mountain biking trails to explore for secluded fishing spots, bear caves, or a hike to the beaver pond. In addition to our merit badge program, choose from many other camp activities including; Mountain Boarding, Log Rolling at Waterfront, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, and our 40ft. Climbing Tower.

NYLTNational Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed program offered by the Baden-Powell Council at Tuscarora Scout Reservation to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops, crew, ships, and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.NYLT is a six-day course. Starting on August 10, 2020 to August 15, 2020.
CAMP BARTONCamp Barton is located on Frontenac Point on the west shore of Cayuga Lake in New York’s Finger Lakes. Resting on a ½ mile of lakefront property, Camp Barton encompasses 300 acres of woodlands, trails, and open fields. Also, don’t forget about our 40 foot waterfall on site! Older Scouts can choose from a variety of challenging and fun programs including the Helmsman
program that teaches advanced sailing on Cayuga Lake. Also participate in our Jet Ski, which is only one of four Jet Ski programs in the Northeast Region and Intro to Scuba course. Scouts and Leaders are able to earn their NYS Boater’s Safety Certification at camp or online before arriving.

BE AN ENCORE CAMPER!Scouts who attended a week of Boy Scout Summer Camp at either Barton or Tuscarora are eligible for a discount on a 2nd (or more) week of camp at either Barton or Tuscarora as an Encore Camper. Scouts can enjoy 2 or more weeks at the same camp – or enjoy attending both for 2 or more weeks in the same summer! Scouts will receive a $100 discount on their second week of camp. (Does not include NYLT)
Come with or without your Troop!Any scout is welcome to attend Camp Barton and Tuscarora Scout Reservation for a summer great summer camp experience, even if their Troop is not at camp.Provisional camping offers an opportunity for a Scout to attend camp a different week then their Troop or if they want to spend an additional week with us. We pair Provisional Scouts with an existing Troop so they have the same experience and opportunities for advancement and enjoying their time at camp.
