Osseointegration and implant prosthetics are highly successful processes. However, the accuracy of implant placement is challenging and we see countless cases of
malpositioned implants. These create a myriad of complications and ultimately lead to patient dissatisfaction and loss of trust between the referring dentist and the surgical specialist. This presentation will demonstrate predictable and simple methods to significantly improve the accuracy and precision of implant place-ment. Dr. Simon will discuss the necessary diagnostic tools and technologies to plan computer-guided cases and how to implement them in a cost effective way. He will also discuss how to convey the value of this treatment modality to patients. This very typically ensures proper compensation, enhanced case accep-tance and implant practice growth. Additionally, Dr. Simon will share the exact methods, tips and tricks for immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone and a practical approach to immediate provisionalization.Learning objectives: · Understand what is needed to perform computer guided surgery. · Understand implant positioning in the virtual world. · Understand the exact surgical protocol. · Learn how to communicate the value of guided surgery and increase implant case acceptance. · Learn how to successfully utilize this methodology in the esthetic zone. · Learn how to enhance referral relationship and team work · Learn a practical approach in handling esthetic disasters
