Established in 2007, Berkshire Mountain Distillers

has created a line of award-winning artisanal spirits

which include Greylock Gin, Ethereal Gins, Ragged

Mountain Rum, Ice Glen Vodka, Berkshire Bourbon

and New England Corn Whiskey. All products are

handcrafted in small batches at the Berkshire’s

fi rst legal distillery since prohibition. Located in

Sheffi eld, Massachusetts, the farm and distillery

are home to historic spring waters that fl ow from

deep within a protected granite mountain bordering

the Appalachian Trail. We use these waters

through all stages of production for our fi ne spirits.

As supporters of local agriculture and business,

Berkshire Mountain Distillers uses regional materials

in many of our products, creating a truly authentic

artisanal brand.

Production

After over four years in the making, Berkshire

Mountain Distillers is fi nally releasing its Two

Lanterns American Whiskey - the result of a

collaborative effort with Samuel Adams. This whiskey

has been triple distilled from Sam Adams’ fl agship

beer, Boston Lager, which was the cornerstone of the

American craft beer revolution. This whiskey is the

fi rst whiskey to ever legally be distilled from Boston

Lager, and its taste profi le uncannily mirrors that from

which it was distilled.

Tasting Notes

Well, the apple does not fall far from the tree on this one.

Toasted malt and caramel on the nose, with a fl oral quality

reminiscent of green grape and lychee nut, probably a vestigial

reminder of the perfectly blended hops used in making this beer.

This is a very clean and light whiskey that is genetically tied to a

historic lager - try a taste of history.
