    Two similar yet very different approaches

    The way to think about the two - consider, all flipped solutions are blended, but not all blended solutions are flipped.

    Blended Blended learning is one where a portion of the in-class time is replaced by out-of-class activities. Example: The use of social forums to host a debate and build on conversations. Creating continued learning opportunities.

    Flipped Flipped is one in which the traditional in-class lecture is delivered outside the classroom by another media. Allowing for in class time to be spent on deeper discussions, project work or activities that support the lecture. Allowing for reflective learning.
