A B O U TTommy was born in Vietnam and grew up in Orange County, California. He was a Silicon Valley engineer in previous life, then found photography as a form of visual expression more fulfilling. His hobbies include cooking and movies, and he is always looking for fresh ideas for his projects in the Southern California area and internationally. In 2012, Tommy was awarded first place from Photo District News (PDN) magazine’s Street Scene competition. In the same year, his work was also chosen to be exhibited at the American Photographic Artists (APA) “Off the Clock” juried show. His work has been shown in various shows throughout California.
