overviewCreate and assign a generic program code for students by using the district and campus generic program code tables and the Generic tab in the Registration application.

As an example of this process, this guide will cover the Individual Graduation Committee (IGC) generic program code. Senate Bill 149 declares that a committee must meet if a student in grade level 12 has failed one or two of his STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) examinations. The committee determines whether they will allow the student to graduate. This generic program is only used for graduating students. TxEIS allows you to use any generic program code. The following steps can be applied to any generic program code.

Prerequisites

This guide assumes you are familiar with the basic features of TxEIS Student system and have reviewed the TxEIS Student Overview guide.

This guide is based on TxEIS 2.0.0004.
