Types of Energy Project

What is it?

• You and your chosen partner will be assigned one form of energy

• You will research this form of energy and present your research to the class.

• Okay what do you have to present?– A PowerPoint Presentation– Poster– What ever else you can think of (has to be

approved by me)

Research

• You must use at least three different sources for your research- no Wikipedia or Answer sites are credible sources.

• Cite them correctly using MLA style- put in the information using citationmachine.net

• You may use books, internet, magazines, etc…• Sample:

When can we work on this?

• Today • In class on Thursday 11/03– The laptop cart will be in here

What do we have to turn in?

• A bibliography including at least 3 sites that you used for information.

• A presentation of some sort- up to you and your partner

• A one page write up about the form of energy you and your partner have been assigned

Presentation must Include:

• Pictures of the form of energy• Examples of the form of energy• How the form of energy is used in everyday

life• Definition of the form of energy• How the form relates to other forms of energy

Paper must include:

• Definition of the form• Examples of the form • How the form of energy is used in daily life• How the form relates to other forms of energy
