3  Harmonic Compensations for  Tobacco industry Case No.: 1 

Situation Description 

  At certain leaf tobacco processing factory, the harmonic source most come from two distribution room

and the load is “Leaf/Thresher Machine”. This work line is filters the leaf tobacco in impurity, does

not obtain including the impurity leaf tobacco, this process is and so on realizes through the frequencyconverter as well as the electrical machinery, the frequency converter is a very big harmonic source,

4  Harmonic Compensations for  Tobacco industry Case No.: 2 

  Situation Description 

In the present cigarette factory production equipment, has used the large quantity of frequency converter;

 but the frequency converter is the typical non-linear power source, therefore causes its power supplysystem current harmonics content to be very high, has increased supply line's harmonic loss seriously and

harms the other current collector's safe operation. Cigarette factory various departments to conserve

8 Harmonic Compensation for Sewage treatment plant

  Project Situation Description
