Farms in Tyrnävä

There are lots of farms in Tyrnävä.

Main crops are potatoes, barley and oat.

There are also cattle and milking cows.

The Potato Fair In September there is

organized the Potato Fair in the marketplace.

It has been every year since 1992.

It is organized after the potatoes are harvested.

But there are also lots of other stuff than potatoes.

Hamlets of Tyrnävä There are five hamlets in the

council of Tyrnävä. There is also the centre of

Tyrnävä and it has a couple of neighbourhoods.

The school buses go to Murto, Temmes, Markkuu, Jokisilta and

Keskikylä.

The marketplace Here is the place where the Potato Fair is

organized. The people from the centre of Tyrnävä

sometimes hangs out here. But mostly the elderly people likes to hang out

here.
